My family and I are the victims of domestic violence. We are trying to move to Montana, where the grandmother I have never met and is dying from cancer lives. The problem is we have no way to move, no money, no transportation, nothing.... My father left my mom beaten, poor, job less, and without a car. Even though we no longer live with him he still manages to control us and treat us how ever he pleases. And now that we have this opportunity to get away from him and start a new life without worrying about him trying to control us. I am a single mother of two beautiful daughters who I live more then life itself! My story is like so many others out there, yet most of the time I feel like I am the only person in the universe. I desperatly need help and really want to provide beter for my dtrs. I work full time and I tried having a second job, but ended up in the hole paying the babysitter! I work for doctors but only make 9.00 an hour. I am -300.00 in the bank and still have not paid rent this month, and I donot know how I will be able to give my girls a christman this year. The bills just keep comming and I cant pay them. I cant sleep, I am heavier then I have EVER been in my life!! If ANYBODY out there can give any advice or help I will take it! Thankyou!

Im a single mom of five and I love to work and keep busya nd take care of everyone including my children thta need my help. But, I had a baby 3 months ago and he was my 4th c-section and I have not yet been back to work, Im so tired and stressed and depressed, I stay up many nights trying to find and figure away out, to work at home, or something. We need a home, we are living in a small trailer, and its got a lot of problems. I love to write stories or articles and Im trying to find work doing something like that, Im asking for help, If anyone is out there and can hear me, Thankyou.

Blaze, When I first started M.O.M.S. I gave so much of my paycheck to helping others that I couldn't make my mortgage. I found myself facing a dilemma... Quit helping others or find another source of income. Well there was no way I could stop helping single moms. There are so many in need of help and nobody really helping them. So, quiting was out of the question. I didn't have time for a second job but decided I would rent out both bedrooms in my home to help make the mortgage. I converted my two car garage to a great room and moved my daughter and I into the garage. Even living here in Southern California it was chilly in the winter... but we made it through it and I rented our bedrooms out and broke even on the mortgage. Did I like having roommates? Not particularily... but sometimes you do what you have to do and I prepared for the sacrifice and made it through it. Where there's a will, there's always a way... Sometimes the way is covered with brush and thorn bushes and yes, you might get a few scraps, bumps and bruises, but you'll make it!
